Dormy Inn Kurashiki Natural Hot Spring

An absolute gem, just a short walk from the Kurashiki historical quarter and the main train station. The check-in was excellent, with all staff showing great care and attention. The spa (onsen) was located on the top floor — absolutely beautiful, with two different pools: one indoor and one outdoor. It was magical to sit in a hot bath while looking up at the night sky. There was also a cold plunge pool and a sauna, and all the facilities were amazing. They even had two free massage chairs — the best I’ve ever tried! Some great little touches made the stay even better: the bags we dropped off earlier were already waiting in our room when we arrived. On the top floor, there was a mini freezer stocked with ice creams and lollipops, and between 9:30 and 11:30 pm they offered free ramen bowls. Just incredible.

This place exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely professional, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the onsite onsen was amazing. I was the only female all 3 times I visited the so it almost felt like a private onsen. The hotel offered free ramen from.9pm each nightly and free icecreams available anytime. The location was very central and an easy walk from.the train station. We had a most enjoyable stay at the Dormy Inn and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

So far our favorite stay in this trip! We are backpackers and it felt quite luxurious to us, even for one night. We took advantage of everything the hotel had to offer: juice, spa, ramen, massage chairs! The duvet was super comfy and we loved all of the products (in room and spa). Staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was spotless. Would certainly stay at another Dormy Inn, especially this one!

Easy access from the main train station and easy access to the historical district. The staff was outstanding. We liked the free drink in the lobby, the free ice cream outside the onsen, the reasonable cost and access to laundry facilities. The massaging recliners available free to guests were a great touch and really soothed the muscles after a long day of walking around.

Location was absolutely perfect 👌 The staff were super helpful as we booked in a last minute and had to find parking for our rental car. The lady from reception (her English was excellent) came out and showed me where to park and get an overnight pay ticket. Also that's free ice cream / juice / probiotic drink and washing machines is available for free to all guests. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended 🤩
